Standing at 1,717 meters above sea level, this iconic mountain offers breathtaking landscapes shaped by historic eruptions in 1917 and 1926. For the Balinese people, Mount Batur is considered the second most sacred mountain after Mount Agung. Today, it is one of the most popular spots for a Bali sunrise hike, where visitors can enjoy a stunning sunrise view over Lake Batur, with a chance to see Mount Rinjani in the distance on clear days.

Your Mount Batur trekking tour begins with a convenient hotel pickup from your villa or accommodation in Bali. From there, we will drive you to the trekking starting point, where you will meet your professional local guide.

Before starting the hike, you will be equipped with a flashlight, trekking pole, and bottled mineral water. The trek to the summit takes approximately 2 hours, making it suitable for beginners with a reasonable level of fitness.
